I play tracks from an excellent recording of Bob Dylan on 9/8/89 in Costa Mesa, California. This is another beautiful Mike Millard First Generation recording, and it’s a great show. Dylan plays almost all his songs from Highway 61 and Blonde on Blonde era, and their awesome.

This show is incredible. June 30, 2000 in Holmdel, NJ, Jimmy Page and The Black Crowes blow the roof off the place. This is some of Jimmy’s best playing in decades. The Black Crowes are a perfect band for him and they synergize incredibly well. We hear Hots On For Nowhere (!), Your Time Is Gonna Come, Out On The Tiles, and AN INCREDIBLE LEMON SONG. Jimmy will blow you away.

This is a fantastic recording of an excellent rock and roll band! Cheap Trick LA 1977 New Years Eve is the latest Mike Millard Master release. It’s a fun high energy show from a band making a name for themselves. A great one.

On February 27, 1972 Led Zeppelin played an outdoor show in Sydney, Australia. Zeppelin only toured Australasia once at it was a doozy! This is a high energy outdoor show to an appreciative Aussie crowd. Only live performance of The Rover as well. A good one!

A great Mike Millard recording of Jimmy Page’s Outrider tour at the LA Forum, October 7, 1988. Fantastic sound on Jimmy’s best post Zep tour. His playing is amazing, the setlist is mix of Zeppelin, The Firm, Death Wish 2, and Outrider stuff. A great one.

This is a fun one! Led Zeppelin on November 16, 1971 in Ipswich UK, at St Mathews Baths. A small gig on their Winter UK tour, debuting the brand new Led Zeppelin IV. We hear the ultra rare Gallows Pole, as well as brand new numbers Black Dog, Rock and Roll, plus a rollicking Whole Lotta Love, and Eddie Cochran’s Weekend. Top notch, folks.

On May 25, 1980 Genesis, touring in support of Duke, played an intimate gig for 500 fans, at West Hollywood’s iconic Roxy. Mike Millard was there, front and center, with his legendary recording gear. There’s ambiguity as to whether this is a master recording, or taken from a 1st gen, but in any case the sound is phenomenal, as is the performance.

This tour, in support of Flowers In The Dirt, is Paul McCartney’s first tour since 1979’s Wings UK tour, and his first world tour since 1976. People were ready and he brought it. He played 31 songs (lots of Beatles songs) in his marathon set at the LA Forum, and Mike Millard was there to capture it.
