RIP Richard Cole. We listen to an upgraded source of April 30, 1977 at the Pontiac Silverdome. This is a much better source and a great show. We hear an awesome No Quarter and Achilles. 76,000 people were there. Amazing.
The band is taking this gig seriously, with a vibe that reminds me of the professionalism of Copenhagen 1979. Jimmy is on point!
We listen to a master recording of Led Zeppelin in San Diego on June 19th, 1977, from the archives of Mike Millard. Amazing sound. Bonzo is having some issues this night but Jimmy is on fire. An excellent SIBLY and Kashmir are among the songs featured.
