  1. Awesome podcast Mark. Loved your rendition of JPJ singing BoE. Glad you’re back and sounding better than ever.

  2. Great choice of topic to return with Mark, I think one of my first vinyl boots from the ’77 tour was the acoustic set and it was indeed the highlight of a somewhat bloated setlist for that tour. As Robert said a while back they were showboating by this point, I mean a 45 minute drum solo? Come on! And Jimmy’s tribute to Lou as you put it can test anyone’s resilience.

    1. Thank you very much, Ross! There a people who cry heresy when I say the 77 tour is bloated, but… I stand by it.

  3. Hey Mark. Really loving the podcast, so glad I found it! You bring great insight to the shows and the band.
Any chance you’ll be putting up the MEGA show links to the older podcasts? They are a great resource. Thank you. Bill

    1. Bill, thank you so much, my friend. I will, at some point, put the older shows up on MEGA. It’s just a matter of time. Thank you for the gentle reminder. I’ll try to remember to ping you when they’re all up. Was there a specific one you wanted?

  4. Thanks Mark. There were five I was most interested. In order:
    1) 1971 Osaka (episodes 13 and 14)
    2) Fillmore West (episode 12)
    3) Better Blueberry Hill (episodes 16 and 21)
    4)Montreux (episode 4)
    5) Seattle (episode 6)

I fully recognize that you do have a life outside this work, so I appreciate whenever you can find the time. All the best! Really love your weekly show. Bill
