This is a super cool virtuoso-fest of Rick Wakeman on tour in Anaheim on Nov 11, 1975 playing songs from his three (at the time) solo albums. 6 Wives, Arthur, and Journey to are all represented. This show is amazing and the sound is even better. Plus he plays Whole Lotta Love.

Ep. 84 – The Heart of Markness Led Zeppelin Podcast – March 19, 1975

We listen to Grame’s remaster of Led Zeppelin in Vancouver, BC on March 19, 1975. The PNW leg of the ’75 tour is my favorite, and this is a fun show. Great recording, great energy. Happy Thanksgiving, enjoy!

June 25, 1975 – Mike Millard Master

We listen to a Mike Millard master recording of Yes at the Hollywood Bowl, June 21, 1975. This is their Relayer tour and Patrick Moraz has replaced Rick Wakeman on keyboards. It has a very jazz fusion vibe and as usual the Millard recording is spectacular. A great show.

With Carlos Santana, Keith Moon and More

This is an incredible sounding recording, another Mike Millard master recording, from August 14, 1975 at the LA Forum. Eric is joined by Keith Moon, Carlos Santana, and Joe Cocker.

Per usual for Eric in the post Layla era, the performance is laid back but very well performed. If you would like the entire show, you can download it here: https://mega.nz/folder/KotX1BiL#FWwX3s4Lt-Cqne6X32tHHw

Ep. 56 of The Heart of Markness

This is one of the best live recordings out there. Mike Millard’s Led Zeppelin 3/11/75 is just superb. The performances are great and the audience recording sounds professional. Here the boys at their indulgent best. Dazed and Confused is played as well as the funky Whole Lotta Love/Crunge, a primal Kashmir, and a sublime Over The Hills And Far Away. Great stuff.

The Heart of Markness Podcast

This is a great recording by Joe Maloney, of Bad Company on their first headlining tour. Paul Rodgers sounds amazing as do the rest of the band. We get not only a bunch of great Bad Co. songs, we get a Mott the Hoople song, as well as a Free song. A wonderful experience.
