This is one of the best live recordings out there. Mike Millard’s Led Zeppelin 3/11/75 is just superb. The performances are great and the audience recording sounds professional. Here the boys at their indulgent best. Dazed and Confused is played as well as the funky Whole Lotta Love/Crunge, a primal Kashmir, and a sublime Over The Hills And Far Away. Great stuff.

On Sept 19, 1970 Led Zeppelin played two shows at Madison Square Garden, in New York City. It was reported in the press that each member of the band earned $30,000 for less than six hours work. Good for them. They earned it because this show contains one of the hottest hours of live music I’ve ever heard.

We revisit Led Zeppelin’s July 24, 1979 show in Copenhagen, DK, which we discussed in my very first episode. I’d not played anything from Led Zeppelin’s only Australian tour before, so when dadgad posted his new remaster of the Feb 19, 1972 Adelaide gig, I was all for it. It’s a great show. Fun. Loud. Outdoors.
I play Immigrant Song, the entire acoustic set (Going to California, That’s The Way, Tangerine, Bron-yr-Aur Stomp), and a rollicking Whole Lotta Love with medleys for days. A wonderful time.
